2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website togetherweshare.one, the website provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files (IP address, browser type, time of access).
This is done to ensure the smooth operation of the website based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

b) When making a donation or registering

If you donate via our website or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the following data:

• First and last name

• Email address

• Payment information

• Optional: Address and date of birth (only for tax-deductible donations in Austria)

3. Payment Processing via Stripe

We use the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland) to process donations.
The payment data you enter is transmitted directly to Stripe.

Legal basis:
Processing is necessary for the performance of the donation contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and based on our legitimate interest in secure payment processing (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

4. Donations via Bank Transfer

If you donate via bank transfer, we process the data transmitted by your bank (name, IBAN, purpose of transfer).
This is necessary for proper accounting and compliance with tax obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b & c GDPR).

5. Duration of Data Storage

We store your data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes:

• Tax-related retention:
  According to the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO), donation records must be retained for 7 years. Deletion is not possible during this period for legal reasons.

• Newsletter:
  Data used for newsletter distribution is stored until you withdraw your consent.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data will only be shared if:

• this is necessary to process a donation (e.g. Stripe),

• we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. reporting to the tax office for donation deductibility pursuant to § 18 para. 8 EStG),

• you have expressly consented.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (DSB).
