In 2018, Masa and his mother, Namutosi Esther, opened their home to children who had nowhere safe to go. Many had lost their families and were living on the streets. Esther could not bear to see them suffer. So, despite having very little herself, she welcomed them into her home and gave them a family.

Today, Masa and Esther care for 71 children near the shores of Lake Victoria — children who are resilient, full of life and full of beautiful dreams.

Together We Share has been walking alongside Masa, Esther and the children since 2022. What began as a personal connection between Masa and Caroline has grown into a deep and trusting partnership, built on love, commitment and genuine human connection.

In 2025, Caroline and Tom founded Together We Share as an Austrian non-profit association to support the children more sustainably and build a secure future together.
